Our Honda Marine Torqeedo engine start-ups in Mauritius (2022)

The year 2022 has been rich in achievements for our agency, marking a new stage in our commitment to provide state-of-the-art engine solutions for yachtsmen and professionals in Mauritius and Rodrigues. Drawing on our expertise in marine technologies, we worked on a wide range of Honda Marine and Torqeedo engines, brands renowned for their reliability and performance.

Our team of experts carried out several technical interventions on Honda Marine engines. In particular, we concentrated our efforts on several emblematic models:

BF 135 and BF 250: These powerful, high-performance four-stroke engines underwent rigorous maintenance in August, April and December. We carried out complete overhauls to ensure optimum efficiency and extend their service life. As a result, owners of these boats can sail with confidence, even in the most demanding conditions.

BF 20 and BF 50: For these compact but robust models, work was carried out in January, June and November. These engines, often used on lighter boats, require special attention to maintain a good power-to-weight ratio. Our team ensured that each engine was overhauled and optimised to provide smooth, trouble-free sailing.

In addition to combustion engines, our technicians also work on Torqeedo electric propulsion systems. In 2022, we worked mainly on the Ultralight 403 AC model, renowned for its lightness and efficiency. This motor is very popular with kayak and small craft enthusiasts. Our work consisted of battery checks, technical diagnostics and performance optimisation.
