SECO MARINE at LA GRANDE RIVIÈRE NOIRE FISHING COMPETITION

On February 25, 2023, SECO MARINE had the honor of sponsoring the Morne Anglers Club fishing competition at Grande Rivière Noire in Mauritius. Despite the difficult weather conditions caused by the cyclone, the event brought together many competitors and fishing enthusiasts determined to make the day a success.

As main sponsor, we offered the BF10 Honda Marine outboard engine, renowned for its reliability and performance. In addition, participants also had the chance to win attractive prizes from the club:

– first prize: two plane tickets to Rodrigues ;

– second prize: an all-inclusive stay at the Veranda Tamarin ;

– third prize: a pack of mounted lures.

To win one of the prizes, all you had to do was catch the biggest fish, with the exception of billfish such as marlin/mackerel.

Our stand was also a focal point, featuring a selection of Honda Marine propulsion solutions. Visitors were able to get up close and personal with their technical features and benefits. Noël, Roy and Anthony were on hand to welcome visitors, answer questions and share their expert advice on engine selection and maintenance.

Our warmest thanks to all the participants and spectators who braved the weather challenges to be present at this event. This competition was the perfect opportunity for SECO MARINE to support sport fishing and highlight the exceptional performance of Honda Marine engines. We look forward to participating in similar events in the future, and to continuing to promote initiatives that enhance local talent and the natural beauty of our Mauritian waters.
